Consulting

Your best process
lives in one person's head.

For most small firms that works — right up until it doesn't. We build the system your team actually runs on: the platform, the workflow, and the data underneath it. Then we train your people, hand over every credential, and get out of the way.

What we build

Systems, not just websites.

A site is often part of the job. It's rarely the part that matters most. These are the engagements that move the needle:

Client & Team Platforms

Secure portals, document libraries, onboarding flows and training systems — the software your firm needs when no off-the-shelf product quite fits how you actually work.

Systems Architecture

What to build, what to buy, what to connect. Most firms already own half of what they need and are paying for tools that don't talk to each other. We map it before anyone writes code.

Document & Deck Automation

If your team rebuilds the same deliverable for every new client, that's a template problem wearing a labor problem's clothes. We turn the repeatable part into a system and leave the judgment to you.

Accessibility Remediation

WCAG 2.1 AA audits and repair, including ADA Title II work for public entities facing the 2027 and 2028 compliance dates.

Sound familiar?

You probably don't need
another website.

These are the things firms describe to us right before an engagement starts. If two or three land, there's a conversation worth having:

Who you're working with

Enterprise architecture,
at fifteen-person scale.

Framework & Co. is led by a data architect with 20+ years in banking and capital markets — the kind of work where a bad structural decision surfaces four years later and costs a fortune to unwind. That discipline is why we think about your system before we think about your pages.

Most firms your size choose between two kinds of help: a consultant who architects properly but hands you a document, or a developer who builds whatever you describe without asking whether it's the right shape. Doing both is unusual — and it means the thing that gets built is the thing that was designed.

And it's yours from day one. You own the domain, the accounts, the code and the admin credentials. Your team is trained and the documentation is written. If you never call us again, everything keeps working. That's the standard we build to, not a courtesy extended afterward.

How consulting engagements work

Understand first.
Build second.

We don't quote a build off a single conversation, and you should be wary of anyone who does. Consulting work follows four stages:

Discovery call

A free, no-pressure conversation about your firm, your headaches, and whether this is even the right kind of help. Useful whether we work together or not.

Free

Discovery engagement

One to two weeks learning how your firm actually works and where the hours go. You get a written architecture: what to build, what to buy, what to connect, in what order, and what each part costs. Yours to keep — and to take to any developer.

Fixed fee

Build in phases

Priced by phase against the agreed architecture, with something usable at the end of each one. No open-ended hourly billing and no surprise invoices.

Fixed scope

Handover & support

Training for the people who'll run it, written documentation, and every credential transferred to you. Ongoing support is available and entirely optional.

Optional

Most engagements get smaller after step 02 — discovery usually finds that a third of what was wanted is already solved by something you own.

Fit

Worth knowing before you write.

A good fit for

  • Owner-operated firms, roughly 5 to 50 people
  • Professional services — advisory, financial, legal, healthcare administration
  • Firms with no IT department and no appetite for one
  • Public entities working toward a compliance deadline
  • Anyone whose best process lives in one person's head

Probably not a fit for

  • Cheapest-possible brochure sites — a template will serve you better
  • Work that needs to start next week
  • Firms wanting a vendor who holds the keys permanently
  • Projects where the scope can't be written down
